It has been about six months since the amazing REVO San Diego event. What a great time and huge success!
I am excited to inform you all that Street Angels, the beneficiary, has become bigger and better since the event. Street Angels relies solely on donations and the money raised that night kick started the organization into a few new phases.
We now have four outings per month with an average of 13 backpacks full of supplies being handed out each outing. That puts us on pace to hand out over 600 backpacks in 2010! So cool! Another great aspect we added to our mission since the REVO event is a meal served at every outing. Every homeless young person we come across on the outings receives a nutritional meal. Street Angels not only benefited financially from the event, but our volunteer force has grown. This is really exciting to see. Transformation is taking place in the lives of many homeless young people as well as in the hearts of our volunteers.
Street Angels has developed an entirely new look. Our new logo at the top of this post.
Street Angels would like to thank all of you who came out to the REVO event back in January. You have made an incredible impact! We are also looking forward to the 2nd Annual REVO San Diego event. We can’t wait to support another great organization.

We just wanted to say thanks to everyone that came out to the first ever REVO San Diego. The Bondi was packed out on a Sunday night as over 200 people came and had a great time support Street Angels. Here is the breakdown on how much money we raised and how it will be used
Donations/T-shirt sales: $1,121
INFO ON WHERE THE $ IS GOING:
“Almost everything we get for the packs is donated, but there are times we must purchase items to fill every bag for an outing.
It cost about $35 for one back pack full of all the items.
It cost about $20 for all the items without a back pack.
The rent for our storage unit is $119 per month.
Our donations have picked up significantly, so the money raised will allow us to expand in other areas we have been brainstorming on. Like, monthly BBQs to feed the youth.”

The Bondi has been awesome to work with. They have opened up there incredible space for us to take over and raise money and have some fun. On top of that they are going to be donating $1 for every Primo Island Lager purchased through the night.

Twice a month we head to Ocean Beach with backpacks full of survival essentials: toiletries, flashlights, socks, food etc. We hope to develop relationships with the youth, showing them love and grace through our actions.
While Missiongathering Christian Church facilitates this ministry, we feel it is a service of the community. We invite anyone to participate with us as we engage in kindness. If you’d like to join us, or just want more information email James or Sidney at

So by now you have made it to our awesome site. Just so you know that this site was 100% donated by the amazing team at Collaboration Reverberation. They put all the time into the design and development. Take a look around our site and then head over to theirs.
It’s friends like this that make REVO San Diego possible

We started not really knowing what we were getting into. We wanted to open peoples eyes and their hearts to give them an opportunity to be involved with some incredible local organizations that do amazing things to help the impoverished and oppressed all around the world.
We sat down together one night at a local coffee shop pouring out ideas that led us to where we are now.
